In Loving Memory of Victor Wayne Norris Sr.
August 3, 1963 – July 18, 2026
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Victor Wayne Norris Sr. of Locust Grove, Georgia, who passed away peacefully on July 18, 2026, at the age of 62.
Victor lived a life defined by love, resilience, and devotion to those he cared about. He will be remembered for his big heart, his strength, and the countless ways he touched the lives of family and friends.
Victor had a gift for bringing joy to those around him. He was known for his sense of humor, always having a joke ready to crack and a way of making everyone laugh. His laughter, his playful spirit, and his ability to brighten a room will be some of the many things his loved ones will miss dearly. He had a way of making people feel comfortable, welcomed, and loved simply by being himself.
Above all, Victor cherished his family. He is lovingly survived by his mother, Pearl Norris; his children, Erin Lamb, Teresa Norris, Rachel Jones, Megan Evans, Victor Wayne Norris Jr., and Christopher Norris; his brothers, James Norris, Lamar Norris, and Ricky Norris; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and countless nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Victor was preceded in death by his father, John Norris Jr.; and his brothers, Perry Brown and Dennis Norris.
Though his passing leaves an immeasurable void, Victor's love, laughter, and legacy will live on through the family he treasured and the memories shared by all who knew him. The stories told, the jokes remembered, and the moments of happiness he created will continue to keep his spirit alive.
As we mourn the loss of a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, we also celebrate a life that brought love and laughter to so many. Victor will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
"Those we love never truly leave us. They live on in every cherished memory, every laugh we share, and every heart they touched."
Cremation arrangements are entrusted to McDowell's Funeral Home, Inc.
