“Tee” Gayden-Love
April 2, 1932 – September 12, 2024
Mrs. Sarah Lee Gayden-Love , affectionately known as " Tee " went home to be with the Lord on September 12th, 2024, at the age of 92. Born on April 2nd, 1932, in Sunflower County, Mississippi, she was the beloved daughter of John Thomas and Mary Alice Gayden.
On December 1st, 1984, Sarah was united in Holy Matrimony to James Love, and they shared a beautiful union until his passing in 2022.
Throughout her life, Sarah was a pillar of strength, faith, and love to her family and community.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Gayden; her son, James Gayden; granddaughter, Darrena Milton; sister, Pearly Inez Palmer; and her brothers Josephus Gayden, Sylvester Gayden, William Gayden, Charles Gayden, John Gayden, Larry Gayden, and Curtis Williams.
Sarah leaves behind to cherish her memory her devoted daughters: Inez Simmons, Joyce Blair, Audrey Gayden, Wynell Gayden, Cyntonya Milton, and Kimberly (Reggie) Burney; her son, Craig (Lucy) Gayden; two sisters, Diana Williams and Jereldine (Jeffrey) McKinnie; two sister-in-law, Sallie Gayden, and Mary Gayden; and daughter-in-law, Denise Gayden. She was a proud grandmother to 18 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, a special friend Modena Graves. Her legacy also lives on through a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loved ones, and dear friends.
Sarah's memory will continue to be a blessing to all those who knew and loved her. Her life was marked by resilience, kindness, and deep faith; she will be profoundly missed.
