Ray Blankenship age 67, of Griffin, Georgia passed Monday, April 22nd, 2024 at his residence.

Ray was born in Griffin, Georgia on November 11th, 1956. Ray was a big race fan, he loved old cars, trucks and motorcycles. He loved looking up old antiques and keeping up his fishpond and flowers around the house. Ray loved his family, especially his grandchildren, children and wife.

Ray is preceded in death by his mother: Mattie Kent Blankenship, father: Aubrey (Sonny) Blankenship and mother-in-law: Patricia Harmon. He is survived by his wife: Tracy Blankenship; Children include daughter Desiree Moore and fiancé Jeremy Pitts, step-son: Charles Donovan and wife Stacey, daughter Ashley Donovan and fiancé Sam Akin, and son: Raven Blankenship; Grandchildren: Tony Vining, William Moore, Kristyanna Moore, Deborah Whitlock, Kim Gordy, Larry Blankenship and John Blankenship. He leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews.

There will be a celebration of life held for Ray at 20 Deason Street, Griffin, Ga. at 3 PM on May 5th, 2024.

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to McDowell's Funeral Home, Inc.
