Mother Mattie Lois Nash-Harrison was born March 5th, 1950, to the union of the late Willie C. and late Mittie L. Nash in Griffin, Georgia.

Mattie was sweet and loving to her family and beloved friends, but being the disciplined individual that she was, you knew she loved you by her correction and at times, very, stern demeanor. Her love for flowers was also evident, as she enjoyed using her "Green Thumb" to tend to their beauty. Mattie joined New Generation Christian Fellowship under Apostle, Dr. Mamie J. Smith and served in various ways, as unto God, faithfully, until her health began to decline.

On May 22nd, 2025, she left this side surrounded by love at the Emory Midtown Hospital. She has left to be with her baby boy Anthony Harrison that left us at just 2 months old.

Those left to cherish the loving memories are her daughter: Linda Nash; two grandchildren: Brittany (Orante) McAllister and Aurelius "Ra'Ke" (Lauren) Nash; seven great-grandchildren: Ronte McAllister, Josiah McAllister, Brielle McAllister, Samarrie Washington, Jamarcus Washington, Jalen Craver and Karejah Melton; three sisters: Gloria Pine, Sarah Nash and Carolyn Smith; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
