IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mother Annie
Belle Ector-Harvey
December 26, 1924 – December 1, 2023
Mrs. Annie Belle Ector-Harvey affectionately known as "Mama Eutie" was born December 26th, 1924 in Griffin, Georgia to the union of the late Glover and Emma Ector. She was the baby sister of five siblings, Calton "Cal" Walter "Bubba", Willie James "Lil Bro", Aretha, and Emma Jean who all preceded her in death.
Mama Eutie was educated in Griffin, Georgia where she met the love of her life, the late John Richard Harvey. They were joined in Holy Matrimony and together they created a loving home for their two daughters, Carol Jean Harvey who preceded her in death, and Dianne Harvey. Mama Eutie was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother who enjoyed cooking and entertaining family and friends. One of her most memorable sayings was "I Love Everybody".
Mama Eutie joined St. Phillip A.M.E. Church at an early age. She served as a faithful choir member, Class #7 class leader, and served as a cook in the hospitality ministry.
Mama Eutie was employed by the Griffin Spalding County School System as a nutritionist for many years. Later she worked as a pastry chef at Russel's Restaurant. She was always a committed, dedicated, and professional employee.
Mama Eutie was very passionate about cooking and was well-known for numerous dishes. In her leisure time, she enjoyed tending to her flowers, being a member of the Poinsettia Social Club, and spending quality time entertaining in her home. She was a kind, gentle-hearted, giving and sharing person to everybody.
Annie Belle leaves to cherish and celebrate her memory: her loving and devoted daughter Ms. Dianne Harvey, Griffin, GA; faithful granddaughters: Ms Phebia Moreland, Fayetteville, GA; great-granddaughters: Chakari Harris, Jon and Gabrielle Palmore; great-great-granddaughter: Carli Jo Atwater, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and a countless number of friends. Again, she loved everybody.
