IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Martha Mae
Hall-Beck
July 6, 1934 – December 14, 2023
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother Martha Mae Hall-Beck, who transitioned on December 14th, 2023. Martha was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a cherished friend to many. Her departure has left an indescribable void in our lives, but her memory will forever be etched in our hearts.
Born on July 6th, 1934, in a small town in McDuffie County, Martha became the daughter of Willie and Martha Hall. She was the second oldest child of eight brothers and one sister. She was taught the values of compassion, love and service. As she grew older, these teachings shaped her into the remarkable woman she became.
Martha possessed an outstanding ability to touch the lives of others with her selflessness and empathy. She worked for Sacred Heart Catholic Church for over fifty years, and the Griffin Area Community Workshop for over Twenty Years!
Martha was a cherished mother who adored her children. Her warmth, wisdom, and guidance helped shape the lives of her children, who will forever be grateful for the love she bestowed upon them. She instilled in them the importance of faith, respect and the significance of helping those in need.
In her free time, Martha enjoyed going to the Senior Center. She enjoyed playing shuffleboard and won several medals. She also enjoyed playing cards and knew almost every line dance. Martha enjoyed life.
She is survived by her loving children: Reginald C. Beck, Demetra M. Hall, and Meredith B. (Melinda) Beck, Sr. all of Griffin, Georgia. She also leaves to cherish her memories one Brother: Tommie Hall of Augusta, Georgia; Grandchildren: Nicorrean L. Beck, Courtney A. Andrews, Mequell Y. Beck, Monique N. Beck, Meredith B. Beck, Jr. all of Griffin, Georgia; Caulette (Rico) Johnson of Cleveland, Ohio. She also has sixteen Great-Grandchildren, and two Great-Great-Grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, and friends who will cherish her memory for years to come. Though her loss leaves a void in our lives, we take solace in knowing that she has found eternal peace and is reunited with her Heavenly Father.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.
She will be deeply missed but never forgotten!
