Malvin Junior Lockett , age 56, of Stockbridge, Georgia, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. He was born on January 5, 1968, in Orlando, Florida to mother, Evelyn Mincey, and father, Victor Lockett.

Malvin Junior Lockett is survived by his loving wife, Kellie Woods-Lockett; son, Jamar Tyreek Lockett; daughter, Jamia Marie Lockett; a granddaughter, Amayah Marie Lockett-Sanchez; sisters: Sheila Tillman (Calvin), Barbara Mincey, Patricia Thomas, and Victoria Lockett, of Florida, Jaqueline Mincey and Deborah Lockett Geer (Marcella); brothers: Steven Mincey (Arlene) and James Mincey, of Florida. He was preceded in death by his mother Evelyn Mincey and his brother Ronald Earl Lockett.

Malvin Junior Lockett was an Auto Detail Technician/Manager with auto dealers including Bill Heard Chevrolet, Spartan Lincoln Mercury, and Evans Toyota. Graduated from Statesboro High School in 1987. In his personal life, he enjoyed hobbies such as fishing, landscaping, auto detailing, playing basketball, and being a music DJ.
