Mr. Kenneth Caldwell was born December 22nd, 1939, to the late Clifford and Audrey Caldwell in Griffin, Spalding County, Georgia. He is 1 of 9 siblings.

Kenneth was a longtime employee of Pamona Products (The Pepper Plant) where he worked as a Forklift Driver. He was a popular member of the Springhill Community and was given the nickname "The Hawk". This was because of his strong physical continence, perseverance, and his ability to withstand any bitterly cold season! He entered retirement after years of employment working for the Griffin School System as a Custodian and delighted in amusing the young children as they passed in the hallway. He lived a simple life, and you'd often catch him in his free time counting his coins, sitting on the living room floor of his mother's house or hunting for golf balls at the local City of Griffin golf course. He loved his family and his community of Springhillian friends. When he suffered his first stroke and was confined to a wheelchair, it did not stop him from riding through his beloved Springhill neighborhood for drop-by visits, especially to his Eldest Sister- Annie Rainey.

He accepted and received the Prayer of Salvation from Nephew Danny Goodrum at his bedside during his stay in Convalescence Care. His belief and salvation... in line with his Ancestors. Uncle Kenny was a lesson in discretion. He would often finance Family Reunion dinners.... stand in the gap providing monies to help during family hardships... even getting the corner store, Mr. Willie B. Groceries, opened on late summer nights, so his nieces and nephews could get treats. he did it all... but you weren't allowed to talk about it. He forbade you to tell anyone. He taught us there was honor in discretion. He was truly The Hawk!

Uncle, Brother, Cousin... Kenneth Caldwell, Rest in Power.
