Jerrell Tyrone Lyons' Life Story

Mr. Jerrell T. Lyons , a cherished individual known for his jovial personality and infectious smile, was born on the 25th Day of December 1968, in the Peach State of Georgia, in the beautiful city of Griffin, to the late Dorothy A. Stinson and Willie J. Lyons, Sr.  Jerrell was surrounded by unconditional Love during his transition, from His earthly Life, on Sunday, April 6th, 2025. Jerrell's demise was preceded in death by his mother: Dorothy Stinson; grandmothers: Frankie L. Stinson & Fannie Mae Lyons; grandfathers: Homer L. Stinson & Robert Lyons; and, Uncle Ralph Lyons.

Jerrell was Dorothy's and Willie's first born and a twin to Terrell J. Lyons. Throughout Jerrell's journey, he became a member of New Hope Baptist Church where he joined the Junior Usher Board and Sunbeam Choir.

Jerrell gained Stellar IQ in the Griffin-Spalding County School System where he became a member of the Bogarsun Social and Civic Club and the GHS Football Team, graduating with The Dynamic Class of 1987. Jerrell later received an Associate's Degree in Business Management from the International Technical Institute. Moving right into adulthood, Jerrell exuded great work ethics, working at a young age with his Uncle Ronnie and worked tirelessly at Delta Airlines yielding him limitless world travel.  Jerrell later became an entrepreneur.

Jerrell was BLESSED with a Loving Family and leaves His unconditional love and cherished memories to His loving Father Willie (Emmette) Lyons, Sr; four brothers: Terrell Lyons, Willie (Susan) Lyons, Jr, Derrick (Markita) Lyons, and Remington Lyons; four aunts: Frankie Stinson, Yvonne (Tim) Brown, Barbara Jean (Rogers) Allen, & Florence Lyons; two uncles: Ronnie Lyons and Reverend Charles (Eliza) Melson; nieces: Chelsea Lyons, Loriel Reynolds, Jamea Lyons, Myia Weston, & Kylee Lyons; nephews: Darius Dawson, DeAndre Lyons, Chandler Lyons, & Darroch Lyons; 1st cousins: Antonio Ellis, Mario (Vanessa) Ellis, Dennis (Kim) Williamson, Travis (Shay) Stinson, Whitney Lyons, Shauna Appling-Copeland, & Keisha Lyons; and, a host of loving great aunts, great uncles, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Jerrell will also be fondly remembered by special Lifelong Friends, Jerrold Dewberry and The Dewberry Family.
