IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Eula Mae
Evans
February 21, 1949 – August 19, 2023
Mother Eula Mae Evans was born February 21st, 1949 to the late Reuben Jake Evans and Maude Irene Parks-Evans in Pike County, Georgia. She was the Seventh of Ten children.
In her youth, Eula was baptized at Robert's Chapel United Methodist Church where she received the gift of God's love and light. Eula was a faithful member of Robert's Chapel until her health failed. Eula also frequented First Corinth Missionary Baptist Church, New Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, and Dodd-Sterling United Methodist Church, all in Atlanta, Georgia.
Eula graduated from Pike County Consolidated High School in Concord, Geogia in 1968.
Upon graduation, Eula moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she met her life love, the Late Mr. Gerald Arnold. To this love, a daughter was born: Shakeidria Arnold.
Eula's work ethic was instilled by her parent's example. She was employed with the National Biscuit Company, better known as Nabisco in 1969 and later retired in 2011 after 41 years of employment. Smelling like chocolate chip cookies or vanilla wafers, Eula cherished her work and the friends she met. She served as a fierce representative of dedication and hard work to those around her.
During her spare time, Eula, better known as "Fee" "Momma" "Grammy" or "Auntie" enjoyed singing, dancing, collecting figurines from McDonald's, Angel's, Christmas Bear's, and watching movies and television shows. She enjoyed watching Westerns, Shirley Temple, Tarzan, Disney Movies, Old School Cartoons, and the Peanuts.
She was an avid listener of music. She loved herself some Lee Williams, The Canton Spirituals, Luther Vandross, The Staple Singer's, Tyrone Davis, and Christmas music. She would often sing Michael Jackson's song, "You Rock My World" and mimic Michael's dances from his music videos. She truly enjoyed music and dancing.
It was always a great day when Eula conversed with her close family and friends. There was never a day when they did not chat.
Eula departed this life, Saturday, August 19th, 2023 int he presence of her home. Both parents: Mr. Reuben Jake Evans and Mrs. Maude Irene Parks-Evans; her three brothers: Laron Parks, Ray Evans, and John Douglas Evans; her mother-in-love and father-in-love: Mr. Joshua (Dorothy) Arnold, and life partner, Mr. Gerald Arnold preceded her in death.
