Ellen "Teresa" Burden was born January 10th, 1959 to the late Jessie Lee Burden and Bernice Hutcherson Burden in Barnesville, Georgia. Teresa was a proud product of the Pike County School System, where she excelled in all studies especially including Music. She attended Gordon State College with Music as her Major.

Teresa loved to travel. After finishing college, she traveled to Chicago where she lived for 5-6 years, then returned to Georgia where she continued her career in various opportunities as a manager in her field. Teresa was very articulate and adventurous as she explored entrepreneurship in the fields of catering, as she loved to cook and bake. She also loved to laugh and entertain as she supported family members and friends.

On November 11th, 2023 at 8:02 in the evening, the Lord called her home to be with Him. She leaves to cherish the loving memories her Mother: Bernice Burden; (4) four Siblings: Tracie Burden, Eric (Ginger) Burden, Jessie Lee (Carlass) Burden, Jr. and Jeshon (Kathryn) Burden; Nieces: Brittaney Weaver, Rachetta Milner, Jewell Burden and Kaylin Burden; Nephews: Brandon Weaver, Justin Burden, Eric Burden, Jr. and Landon Burden; Great-Nieces and Nephews: Bella an Brea Milner and Major Lee Burden; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that will miss her willingness to help others in their time of need.
