Edna Lee Pritchett, born on March 17, 1929, in Volga, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2024, at home, in the loving care of her daughters. She was the epitome of hard work, instilled in her from her upbringing as one of twelve children on a farm. Edna was the only one among her siblings to graduate from Phillipe High School, a testament to her determination and resilience.

After marrying Charles B. Pritchett in 1953, Edna moved to Florida, where she devoted herself to raising her four children. She was a dedicated stay-at-home mom until her youngest daughter, Marilyn, was almost in high school. Edna then embarked on a career at Walt Disney World, where she became known as the Official Candle Maker on Main Street, later transitioning to Uptown Jewelers until her retirement in 1991.

Edna's life was filled with adventure and joy, particularly through her close bond with her sister Elsie, until Elsie's passing in 2014. A lover of sewing, quilting, flower arranging, and baseball (go Braves!), Edna's hobbies reflected her creative spirit and love for her family.

She is survived by her children: Byron (Tom) Thomas Pritchett and wife Debbie, Catherine (Cathy) Virginia McEachern and husband Kelly, and Robert (Bob) Wilson Pritchett and wife Angie, as well as her daughter Marilyn (Meme) Ann Pritchett. Edna will be deeply missed by her grandchildren: Amber Jessee and husband Nathan, Britteny Schruefer and husband Michael, Airlia, Savannah, and Collin Pritchett, and her great-grandchildren: Kelly, Rowan, and Morrigan.

Edna is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Bryon Pritchett, her parents Katherine Evelene Foley Perkins and Hayes Wilding Perkins, and her eleven siblings.

Edna's legacy of hard work, love, and laughter will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be remembered fondly and cherished always.
