~ Reflections of Life ~

Dorothy Mae Jackon-Brown , affectionately known as "Dot" was born the oldest of six children on February 21st, 1961, to the late Raymond Jackson, Jr. and Essie Mae Robinson-Jackson in Pike County, Georgia. She was educated in the Meriwether County School System. She was also educated in the art of cooking which was her favorite pastime. She became employed and used this gift in the restaurant industry for many years.

Dot absolutely loved the Lord. She accepted Christ Jesus as her personal Savior while she was reared at St. Paul Holiness Church. She spent some time in the ministry. She later continued her ministry by being the hands and feet of Jesus with a compassionate heart as she served others. She was fiercely protective, loyal, and giving to her family and friends without thought for self. She did have a weakness for fancy cars and loved to sport a nice ride.

Early Monday morning on July 15th, 2024, Dot left her earthly home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was welcomed home by many loved ones who preceded her in death, including her dad, Raymond, Jr.

Dot leaves to cherish her many loving memories her loving mother: Essie Mae Jackson; her blessed children: Lorina (Alphonso, Sr.) Dudley, Candice White, Ruby (Cedric) Geddis, and Willie James White, Jr.; Nine grandchildren: Daveontae Dean, Michaela Jones, LaKendra Jones, Alphonso Dudley, Jr., Marquez White, Andrea Askew, Cayden White, Sandrica Geddis and Jarquavious White; one great-grandchild: Bryshere Jones; her loving siblings: Raymond (Priscilla) Jackson, Sherry Hinton, Brenda (John) Kendall, Sandra (Joe) Whatley and Carl (Wendy) Jackson; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
