Mr. Donald Williams was the son of Catherine and Donnie Williams. He was born on November 13th, 1972, in Griffin, Georgia, Spalding County. On January 8th, 2025, he was called home after a tragic accident and battles with multiple health issues.

Donald was affectionately known as "Boo" and later to the Griffin Community as the "Can Man" and it was his work ethic that coined him the nickname. In fact, after a particular health struggle he "retired" and began collecting cans as his new job to keep busy. Friends even began saving cans for him as he worked delightfully every day. He was a hard worker and worked with Robinson Sanitation before retiring, and Griffin Recycle later in "retirement", and other odd jobs as he loved to stay busy. Meeting new people and talking to everyone was a passion of his. Boo would help anyone he could and had a very kind heart.

Donald, Dale and Calvin were close brothers. Donald also used to collect scrap metal, and it was nothing to see him on the side of the road pushing a buggy full of scrap metal or run into a scene of him and Dale crushing cans. It was big brother Calvin's job to drive down and help Donald get the scrap to the scrap yard. The next step was food, and as they enjoyed the fruits of their labor, they would talk good junk and laugh at each other.

On February 14th, 2019, he married his wife, Polson Allen whom we know as Lisa and loved her daughter Kamiya. His love for his family drove him even harder to provide for and support them. Donald was so loving and in return loved by many people and was known to stop and help anyone.

Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents and his oldest brother: Norman Stillwell.

Left to cherish the loving lessons and memories are his wife: Lisa Williams and stepdaughter: Kamiya; his oldest brother: Calvin (Robin) Stillwell and his youngest brother: Dale Williams; nephew: Aaron (Tshwanda) Lane and their children Aaron-Eryn and Arielle Lane; and niece: Ashley (Corey) Leonard plus "Chucky" (Dale and Donald's favorite canine); as well as a host of family, cousins and dear friends.

Final arrangements are posted below.
