IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Amin H.
Lindsey
June 21, 1978 – December 15, 2025
Amin Hassan Lindsey, a loving father and cherished family man, returned to his heavenly home on December 15, 2025, at Emory Midtown Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Born on June 21, 1978, in Atlanta, Georgia, Amin's life was a testament to his deep commitment to family, hard work, and devotion to those he loved.
As a graduate of West Lake High School, Amin embraced the values of diligence and perseverance, which led him to become self-employed with a Lawn Care Service. His unwavering dedication to his work not only provided for his family but also decorated the yards of many in his community with vibrant greens and flourishing gardens, reflective of his nurturing spirit.
Amin’s legacy is most vividly illustrated through the joy he found in fatherhood. He leaves behind his beloved children: Antonio Hassan Lindsey, Amina Mona Lindsey, and Hykelia Lindsey. Each of them carries forward the love and values that he instilled in their hearts. His affection extended to his grandchildren, Kyheem Hassan Booker and James Robinson, Jr., who brought immense pride and joy to his life, serving as a reminder of the love that binds a family across generations.
He is also survived by a dedicated group of siblings: Dixon, Jr. (Felica) Lindsey, Andre Lindsey, Nathaniel Lindsey, Josephine (Anderson), Lorene Lindsey, Evelyn Perez, Karriem Lindsey, Clarine (Noah) Kurange, Gloria Lindsey, Lillie Ann (Stanley) Russell, and Rayciayah Lindsey. Together, they shared countless memories filled with laughter, support, and unbreakable bonds.
Amin’s heart was equally heavy with the love for his deceased family members, including his parents, Mr. Dixon Lindsey and Mrs. Lowett R. Lindsey, who will forever remain a part of his enduring spirit. He now joins his brothers, Douglas Lindsey, David Lindsey, and John Lindsey, as well as his dear niece, Faithter Lindsey Holland, and nephew, Dexter Bernard Lindsey, each of whom he cherished and missed deeply.
In a fitting tribute to a life well-lived, a Viewing will be held on January 3, 2026, at Mt Sinai Baptist Church in Gay, GA, starting at 11:45 AM, followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:00 PM. These gatherings will culminate in a Burial service at 1:45 PM, where friends and family will come together to honor Amin’s remarkable journey, share memories, and offer comfort to one another.
Amin Hassan Lindsey's warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to his family will forever resonate in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy continues to thrive through his children and the stories his family will tell of his life, laughter, and love.
