Aletha Hixson Davis, 58, of Newport, Arkansas passed away at Baylor Scott and White in Dallas, Texas on August 12, 2025.

Born on August 26, 1966, in Griffin, Georgia, Aletha was the daughter of the late Johnnie M. Henley and Elijah Hixson II.

Aletha graduated from Griffin High School.  Her style wasn't just about clothing; it was about confidence, beauty, and joy that radiated from within.

She was preceded in death by her parents Johnnie Mae Henley and Elijah Hixson II, Brothers: Glenn Henley, Christoper (Evette) Henley, Elijah (Kim) Hixson III; Sisters Carolyn Henley and Sharon (Bobby) Walton.

Aletha is survived by her loving and devoted children son: Antwaun Davis, daughter: Jasmine Davis, five grandchildren; A'Ziah Brownlee, Zion Brownlee, Ja'Kyla Banks, Bentley Davis, and Antwaun Davis Jr.; Brothers Joe Henley(Danita Henley), Charles Henley, and Antonio Hixson, Bonus daughter Brittany Lucas, many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Aletha enjoyed shopping, going on vacation, and spending time with her family. She will be remembered as the "cool auntie," for her warm smile, and selfless heart.

Revelation 21:4 "And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying; and there shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."
