Airlene Canty-Lee was born May 24th, 1941, in Williamson, Georgia to the late Mr. Richard Canty, Jr. and Mrs. Annie Lee Blackmon-Canty.

She attended and graduated from Mays High School of Goulds, Florida in 1959, and continued her education at Florida Memorial College where she completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education in 1993. Airlene started her career teaching at Le Jardin Community Center (A head start program), Richmond Elementary, Vineland Elementary (Student Intern), and Pinevilla Elementary School all in Miami, Dade County, Florida.

Airlene married Robert Edward Lee on June 27th, 1961, and to this union three children were born: Tony, Kimberly and Marcia.

Under the Ministry of the late Mother Eva Gibbons, Airlene gave her life to Christ in Miami, Florida. After the passing away of Mother Gibbons, she later became a member of Solid Rock Apostolic Ministries under the leadership of Apostle Rufus Troup of Miami, Florida. Airlene was devoted and loved God and the people of God.

Airlene's spirit was always cheerful and very energetic. She loved to dance and do outside yard and garden work. Her love for kids was natural and genuine. She took care of her sibling's children and other children that God sent in her life, as if they were her own.

God had need of Airlene and peacefully called her home on January 2nd, 2025, to her final resting place.

Airlene leaves to cherish the precious memories her children: Tony (Sherry) Lee and Kimberly (Fritz) Lubin both of Georgia, and Marcia (Robert) McDonald of Miami, Florida; grandchildren: Unissa Lee, Tarik Zeigler, Marco Lee, Kristina Lee, Ketteline Brutus, Richard Marino and Leya Lubin; and one great grand: Josiah Lee; along with a host of loving cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, church family and community!

Her favorite scripture is Matthew 6:33 from the Amplified Bible and it reads:

"But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right – the attitude and character of God), and all these things will be given to you also."

Final arrangements are posted below.
